Digital Video Library (DVL)
The 70th Venice International Film Festival offers to Industry Trade / Gold participants access to the Digital Video Library to view films from the official selection of the festival and titles submitted through the Venice Film Market. Priority admission is reserved for Buyers.
All accredited production and world sales companies may submit titles no later than August 2nd, 2013, produced after September 10th, 2012.
The Digital Video Library is carried out in cooperation with Expo Venice.
The DVL will increase the visibility of the presented film at the festival, offering an efficient and safe platform on which to present it.
Simultaneous playback of the same film by multiple viewers, immediate access to all information on the film thanks to user-friendly interface and viewing reports for sales agents and producers on who has been accessing their film.
In the framework of new partnerships, some special sections gathering a selection of recommended titles will be included in the Digital Video Library.
A DVL Catalogue will gather all the artistic and technical information as well as the rights availabilities and all details of the right holders of all films shown in the Digital Video Library. This Catalogue will be available on line as well as on a hard copy given to all Industry Trade / Gold participants.
